ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study were to determine socio-economic characteristic, general relevant
information, satisfaction level and factors affecting visitors’ satisfaction on facilities and services of Mu
Ko Chang national park: a case study of Mu Ko Rang, Ko Mak sub-district, Ko Kut district Trat province.
Data gathered by employing the designed questionnaire and interviewed 369 visitors who had visited Mu
Ko Chang national park, especially of Mu Ko Rang, Ko Mak sub-district, Ko Kut district, Trat province
during January-February 2018. Statistical analysis methods employed for testing the setting hypothesis
were t-test and F-test with the given significant level of 0.05 (p-value = 0.05).
The results of this study indicated that most of the respondents were male and female with a rather
equivalent proportion, and with the average age of 32.83 years, their educational level were at bachelor’s
degree. Most of them weren’t having major occupation (students). Their average annual household income
per month were 17,580.38 baht. Their domicile were in the central region/eastern region. The objectives
of the recreational visitors were general traveling, visiting national park with families group, and the coral
reefs in the area were attractive. The visitors’ were satisfaction on facilities and services of Mu Ko Chang
national park at Mu Ko Rang at the high level with the average score of 3.92. Furthermore, factors affecting
visitors’ satisfaction on facilities and services of this national park were educational level, the objectives
of the recreational visitor, experienced in visiting and type of visitors group.
