4. Factors (variables) that effect behavior of family allowance of household rice
farmers with statistical significance are gender of house leader and total income of a

household. This refers to that having men as house leader would rather less considered
about family allowance than women.

5. Pattern of income and spending of household farmers refers to income that
gained from main occupation and additional side work is paid for production process and

making the living. The majority of payment is for fertilizer and chemical substance, and food
and drinks. The adjustment to balance the livelihood is to looking for additional side work to

add sufficient income for parents but it is limited by fund and technical skills.
Briefly, rice farmers in Ubon Ratchathani have similar ways in production process

and consumption because they are just single farmer with fitful income from both agriculture
sector and non-agriculture one resulting their living balance by doing various extra jobs for

more income. Self-adjustment and behavior are well-considered based on sufficiency
economy.
