I would like to congratulate the Kasetsart University (KU) on its 72 Anniversary, no doubt a momentous and proud occasion for an educational institution which takes

pride in being regarded as among the best in Asia and the world. As fellow founding members of the Southeast Asian University Consortium for Graduate Education in
Agriculture and Natural Resources, our respective universities has a common commitment in sharing academic expertise and a mutual interest in improving the lives
of our people. In fact, UPLB have had the privilege and pleasure of hosting 10 KU exchange students who participated in our Regional Summer Course on Sustainable
Agriculture in Southeast Asian Countries back in 1999. Both KU and UPLB are regarded as prime movers in shaping the growth and advancement of agriculture in their
respective countries as well as in the region. KU has the distinction of being the first agricultural university in Thailand; its establishment was part of the evolution of
Thailand’s agricultural education. UPLB, which started as the UP College of Agriculture in 1909, has treaded the same path practically. Likewise, KU has been endorsed as
a national university and is continued to be driven by the vision of becoming a leading research university in agriculture, food, technology and innovation. We look forward
to more collaborations with you in the future.

I am delighted to congratulate the 72 Anniversary of Kasetsart University. Since our Utsunomiya University and Kasetsart University concluded the agreement of

academic exchange in 1991, we have fostered warm friendship together. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for all the invaluable cooperation and friendship
you have extended to UU last two decades. We wish Kasetsart University even more success in the future and we look forward to work with you in promoting a good
research and education to create better international society.

Our two universities are cooperating in a frame of Erasmus Mundus Program, project EURASIA2, financed by the European Commission. Participation in EURASIA2
contributed to improvement of university’s recognition and allowed establishing closer cooperation between partner higher education institutions. Throughout the
duration of the EURASIA2 project (2010 - 2014), WULS-SGGW signed Memorandum of Understanding with Kasetsart University, acting as one of associated partners
included in the project. Established contacts helped in broadening possibilities of conducting joint scientific research and in enhancing university’s competitiveness and
openness on further international collaboration.
On behalf of the Senate of Warsaw University of Life Sciences — SGGW (WULS-SGGW) and my own, I have a pleasure to extend our congratulations and express our
appreciation on the 72 Anniversary of Kasetsart University. With all our heart we would like to wish to the Kasetsart University the prosperity, the new creative and scientific

achievements, the fruitful work for the benefit of education and global science development.

Kasetsart University and Yamaguchi University have been working together to develop mutual academic exchanges for approximately 20 years. Yamaguchi University
designated Kasetsart University as a priority university for cooperation, with a view toward improving Yamaguchi University’s research capabilities through this association
with a leading research university. Because of the implementation of the Core-to-Core Program of JSPS, we strongly believe that the relationship between the two
universities will become even stronger.
