ABSTRACT

Monitoring of pesticide residues in agricultural areas in the northern part of Thailand, Pob Phra,
Tak province; which are important vegetable planting areas for consumption that lead to accumulating
of pesticides, has been studied. This study was conducted from January to July 2018. A total of 96
samples were collected every 3 months which comprised 30 water samples, 22 soil samples, 19
sediment samples, and 25 vegetable samples. All samples were analyzed in the laboratory to identify
and quantify pesticide residues that may contaminate in the risk area. In this study, the monitoring of
the pesticide’s contamination such as organochlorines, organophosphorus, pyrethroids, carbamates,
phenylamide: acylalanine, triazines, bipyridilium, and glycine derivative have been studied in terms of
quality and quantity. The results of the real sample analysis were evaluated. The results showed that
pesticide residues were found in 4 vegetables (16 percent of all samples). The pesticide residues found,
cypermethrin deltamethrin and lambda-cyhalothrin, do not exceed maximum residues limits of Thai
Agricultural Standard (Thai MRLs). The concentrations found are in the range of 0.01 to 0.06 milligrams
per kilogram. Pesticide residues were found in all soil samples (100 percent of all samples). There are
10 pesticide residues found in which concentrations are in the range of less than 0.01 to 12.21 milligrams

per kilogram. There are 4 pesticide residues found in sediment samples (68 percent of all samples)
which concentrations found are in the range of 0.01 to 5.08 milligrams per kilogram. In addition, 3 types
of pesticide residues were found in water samples (57 percent of all samples). The concentrations found
are in the range of 0.05 to 50.80 micrograms per liter. It was found that atrazine is mostly found in water
samples which the concentrations of all pesticide residues found in the water is lower than the
maximum allowable concentration (MAC).

สำรวจสารพิษตกค้างในพืชและสิ่งแวดล้อมจากแหล่งปลูกพืชผักบริเวณพื้นที่สูงในอำเภอพบพระ จังหวัดตาก
และแหล่งน้ำบริเวณใกล้เคียง ระหว่างเดือนมกราคม ถึงเดือนกรกฎาคม 2561 เก็บตัวอย่างทุก 3 เดือน จำนวน 3 ครั้ง
เป็นตัวอย่างน้ำ 30 ตัวอย่าง ดิน 22 ตัวอย่าง ตะกอน 19 ตัวอย่างและผัก 25 ตัวอย่าง รวมทั้งหมด 96 ตัวอย่าง เพื่อหา
