1 SCE plant, 24 CE plants, and 8 multi-feedstocks ethanol (MoE/CE) plants as summarized in
Table 8.1. Those 48 plants are located/will be located nationwide especially in the North and the

Northeastern regions of Thailand where the sugarcane and cassava are widely grown. Figure 8.1

shows the locations of the 48 ethanol plants in Thailand classified by provinces and watersheds.
Around 26 provinces and 11 watersheds are directly related to the ethanol production in Thailand.
