Establishment & Aim
IBIC is a specialized information center on buffalo. Established in 1981 by Kasetsart University (Thailand) IBIC aims at being the buffalo information center of buffalo research community throughout the world.
Objectives
- To collect documents on buffalo from world sources, databasing digitizing and retrieval service.
- To be a center of exchanging and disseminating buffalo information.
Services Activities
- Database retrieval service online.
- Queries service : IBIC draws on the expertise of its advisory board and a group of experienced scientists to answer any technical queries on buffalo.
- Reference service : Performing on request bibliographic searches to identify sources of information on topic defined by users.
